Raspberry Peach Parfait

The Easter bunny is arriving soon with  candy. Sugar is not just craved by kids. We, as humans, are hard-wired  to seek sweetness (even have specialized taste buds).

The day after Easter I am moderating a 5 day No Sugar challenge. Several of my participants’ #1 source of sugar is ice cream. At the end of a stressful day they like to curl up with a bowl.

Here is  healthier alternative.

Raspberry Peach Parfait

In a tall glass layer

1/4 cup plain Greek Yogurt

1/4 cup sliced fresh/ frozen peaches & raspberries

1/4 cup cottage cheese or ricotta

1/4 cup sliced fresh/ frozen peaches & raspberries

1/4 cup plain Greek Yogurt

sprinkle with sliced almonds or ground flaxseed
