
Want a cocktail during the holidays? A hot toddy is traditionally drunk before retiring for the night, in wet or cold weather or to relieve the symptoms of the cold and flu. Even if you are on a weight loss journey you don’t have to feel deprived. Consider this Healthy Hot Toddy from Autumn in FIXATE Volume 2.

INGREDIENTS:
4 whole cloves
1 slice medium lemon
1 fl oz bourbon
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp pure maple syrup
1 slice fresh ginger
6 fl oz joining water
DIRECTIONS:
1. Stick cloves into pith of lemon slice. Place in bottom of a coffee mug.
2. Add bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup, ginger and water. Mix well
